The AGI Foundation provided significant start-up funding for the February 2005 launch of GeoScienceWorld, a comprehensive Internet resource of materials from 30 high-impact journals for research and communications in the geosciences, built on a core database aggregation of peer-reviewed journals indexed, linked, and inter-operable with AGI’s successful GeoRef database. Several leading geoscience societies and university presses collaborate to offer this unprecedented electronic research resource.
