The Marcus Milling Legendary Geoscientist Award, established in 1999,
joins the ranks of prestigious geoscientist awards within
North America. The award is offered by the American Geosciences
Institute and the Foundation. It is given periodically to
a living geoscientist who has a long history of sustained
scientific achievement and exceptional service to the geoscience
profession.
